Alicia Garcia

After several years in the film industry and a short stint in design, I found my true calling: SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EQUITY. I am passionate about systems change through intentional design around organizational equity. Education reform has been my primary focus– the core beliefs I hold around youth empowerment, equitable access to quality instruction and culturally responsive education have fueled my professional drive as a leader within diverse contexts. I utilize my extensive background in design thinking and equity leadership to build capacity and create sustainable and resilient change within organizations through a restorative framework.
