Biography

La Toya is an intrinsically motivated professional with 25 years experience in the nonprofit sector working in family development, nonprofit sustainability and community mobilization. She graduated from Regis University in 2011 with a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management with interest in International Business Development and she completed her undergraduate studies at Colorado Christian University. La Toya recently started a nonprofit consulting firm, The Donation Broker (www.thedonationbroker.com).  La Toya currently serves as the Director of Programs and Community Partnerships at Montbello Organizing Committee. As a community activist and voice for families in the Montbello, Green Valley Ranch and North Aurora communities, La Toya is engaged in many community initiatives including but not limited to:
