Civic Learning Lab

Public Health for Public Safety with help from the Office of Children’s Affairs has partnered with Groundwork Denver,
CSU Extension, Denver Department of Public Health & Environment Community Advisory Group (CAG), and CSU SPUR
to bring opportunities for education, leadership, and community engagement to neighborhoods throughout the Denver Metro Area.
Our goals are to:
★ Eliminate environmental disparities.
★ Improve access to mental health resources.
★ Bridge economic wealth gaps.
★ Remove the impacts of generational trauma with financial literacy.
★ Promote generational wealth in neighborhoods that have historically suffered through years of inequality and resource
scarcity.
